We stopped in Luray, Virginia for lunch and meandered around main street and into the fabulous Warehouse Art Gallery.  What a fantastic space.  I highly recommend stopping in if you get the chance.

We meandered along the Blue Ridge Parkway enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Have you spent time meandering lately?  If not, you should.  It is good for the soul.

  1. We are stopping in Luray! I will try to check that place out. Have so much fun meandering!

  2. I love your photos and your outfit!!

We love to meander around the small towns in upstate NY when we visit my parents' lakehouse. It's such a different, simpler (in many ways, nicer, less hectic, less fast pased) way of life!

  3. We have not meandered in a while. We are to busy trying to rush back to some form of air conditioning. Lol! Looks like y'all are having a great time, ENJOY!!!

  4. we love meandering :) how luck you are to meander through the blue ridge - such a beautiful area!

  5. I need to meander....you are inspiring me!

  6. It is always amazing to me what comes out of meandering. Usually, its quite magical. :)

  7. Ah, Jess, you've brought me right back to years and years ago, when I was doing a low-residency Masters in Asheville NC. I'd would fly in to North Carolina for the 10 day residency, and get to spend glorious days in SUCH beauty, hiking around the Blue Ridge Mountains, driving on that very parkway (when we weren't learning, learning, learning, of course :).). It is such beautiful countryside. How wonderful that you're getting to meander there! Now, if I could just blink, and be there too…

I love meandering, so very much. We are currently meandering, right here at home! Turning things right down to s-l-o-w. It feels a lot like bliss.

Thank you for all the beautiful photos! It looks like you're having a truly magical vacation. How happy you all look, and rested, and so relaxed! Sending big smiles your way! :)
